Congratulations Christopher! Next time you tell me you have a picture for a challenge but it "sucks", I'm most likely just gonna shoot myself with a gun I don't own =)

Congratulations on winning the red ribbon. The figure's angst is palpable and she is aptly situated within a somewhat everyday, if a bit sterile, room that seems to imprison her. Quite evocative.

borders on Bosch, fascinating to stare at the focus and blur- the incongruities-sadness, longing, depression...

Sheesh... this goes beyond depressing and deep into mental illness. Very unsettling to me. So, nice work! 9

The four corners of the square draws my eye to the center of the image but there is nothing there but a smudged wall. My eye is restless, like the lady standing against the wall. The square has been conquered.

I feel the emotion.

First of all it's an amazing shot (composition, pp, etc.). Second it doesn't look staged - maybe because of the movement. The movement is also what makes me think of depression. It brings some kind of inquietude and chaos to the otherwise quiet image. It makes me feel something is going on with that person... something I don't understand... something only she can feel. Maybe she's lost, disturbed, with a million of thoughts flying through her head. She is helpless, insignificant, she seems to be struggling with something she will never defeat... I was really hoping to see something creative and not obvious in this challenge. You made it happen. Thank you.

I'm so confused... I really thought I knew that window, but there was another window under it...

That window has a twin!!!

Wonderful shot. Not sure it say depression, but it's beautiful!
