A veritable symphony of rail lines overlaid with a scratchy counterpoint of towers and wires. And then there's the staccato of the signal lights, to extend the metaphor. All this busy detail is wonderfully captured at a perfect time of day. I find it moving.

Normally, I would think pics of overhead wire unpristine, but this pic is all about wire, from the tracks to the overhead. Very clear.

Interesting, I wonder what it would look like if you just had the wires against the sky. (But that would mean stepping onto the tracks)
