 It was fun to enter a challenge again here at DPC. Life is busy for me now, so adding the DPC addiction to my 'to do' list is really out of the question at the moment. I will stop by and say hello on occasion. Cheers.

About the shot....
One of my 'neighbors'. These Scottish Highland cattle live on a farm about a mile down the road from my house. They are very curious and imposing looking with the horns and large thick coats.

When the challenge came to my attention, I knew immediately the subject for my entry. I waited for a snowy, wet, and raw day to get the right look on their coats and the right soft light to grab the details I was after.

By the way...I love my new Nikon Df camera body.

I love this so much. I have a complete affinity for anything bovine. This would be gorgeous enlarged with a big white mat and black frame. I'd hang it in my house!!
