Bluebirds just make me smile. Bluebirds in my yard ... make me ecstatically happy :-) I've had a little flock here for the past several weeks, which is very unexpected in my little patch of suburbia, but I am cheerfully keeping them supplied with mealworms in hopes they'll stay permanently. If not, well, I'm enjoying them every day they're here.
Photographed these guys all week; would have liked a picture in a tree, but the sun came out and this guy posed perfectly on the deck, so this is THE bluebird shot of the week.
PP - converted from RAW, cropped, CEP (tonal contrast, reflector efex in light gold), colored deck rail grayer and cloned out a few light bits, resized, Nik Sharpen, blurred background more, cloned out come sharpening haloes. |
