When this challenge was announced I immediately thought of my youngest daughter. Before my eyes she is transitioning from a girl to young woman. While she is eager to complete this transition, I am much more ambivalent about it. However, when I stop and think about it I know I should just loosen up, sit back and enjoy the ride. It is inevitable, and so far she has made the journey with quite a bit of poise and grace.

"Ambivalent". Hmm, now there's a good word. My daughter is about to do the same... I don't know that I would describe myself as 'ambivalent' however.

Congrats on the HM, and also on another lovely image.

Well portrayed. The use of black and white adds to this image's emotional depth.

Great use of light. Her expression is great as well, as if she's witnessing the transformation herself. Lighting and tones give it a really genuine and natural feel. Well done.
