 One of my beloved lone trees

This is one of my favourite models
I have been shooting this tree throughout the seasons for many years now.
This shot was taken after the recent Ice storm in the Toronto area. The field where this tree resides was completely iced over. The walk out to this tree would have been a struggle due to the deep snow. The recent ice storm made it quite easy. I walked on top of the ice like it was a giant white parking lot.

I can not really say I am back because I do not feel that I ever left. It just seems that life is too busy. You heard the saying "Stop and smell the Roses" mine is Stop and shoot the trees ... LOL

Cole when I first saw this I said BLUE! It is just soooo perfect! Congratulations!!!

PS: How do you like your Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8G IF-ED? I ordered one that was supose to BE HERE today, but ice n snow deter UPS drivers...phffftttt

Ever since I saw your work, I've been on the lookout for lone trees in my area. So far, not great success, but you have definitely inspired me to keep looking!
