Meet Butterscotch, one of my two remaining cats. We got her in about 1999 from a lady walking through a shopping mall (indoor) trying to find her a home. She was our fourth and last cat and the baby of the family until our dogs arrived.
Sassy and Mishka have left us now, and older sister Charlie still holds her own, but Butterscotch has seen better days.
She's a feisty redhead who pretty much lives in our bathroom, moving across the room staying in the sun's warmth. I caught her lounging on the edge of the tub and proceeded with this natural light shoot, getting her interested in the mirror. She helped me for about 20 minutes, then had had enough, so I left her to her memories.

Well this is gonna suffer since there are 3 cats looking in the mirror entries and voters tend to think everyone with the same general type of entry colluded.
So far, doing ok... started decent. Sitting on a 6.50 right now (from a high of 7.00), but it's gone up and down, not too many ones.

Since my previous update, this one dropped to a low of 6.18 or so. Sat there for a bit before slowing creeping back up to 6.2, 6.3, 6.4 etc... now at a very nice 6.65.
Voted already too and there are some very good shots in this batch, so thinking that there might be several 7s without ribbons.
But I am very happy with how this one is progressing. Got a nice comment from one of the other cat photographers as well as high praise from IreneM! Very nice.

Hurray! Someone got the reference.
Last day or 15 hours... holding a 6.5. Looked over my votes and bumped a couple. I counted about 15 7 or higher from my POV, so I stand by my prediction of a few 7+ no ribbons. However, it is an open challenge and anyone can vote, so that sometimes lowers the bar.
We shall see.
