The way of the world topples the one of the spirit.
I love this modern landscape captured inphotography.
It iwas ubiquitous in paintings: the City Hall taller than the church. But, befittingly enough, now the corporations are taller than all things made by men.
But the spirit is alive and floats above all.
Great work John.

Two towering icons, both unpalatable.
I'm lovin' it.

This image has caused me to stop and pay attention. That means it is in my 7-10 voting band. (Voted earlier)

Additionally, it is highly interesting/eclectic meaning it keeps me here long enough to offer a longer comment and a vote of 8 or more.

This is one of my 8s - I like it. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:

1. Great low fidelity image - lovely well matched tone and grain.

2. I love the iconic M being juxtaposed with the steeple - it provokes thinking around capitalist and religious doctrine and the social gullibility that is endemic within our world.

3. I love that pole on the left - random and stark, a distractor for distraction's sake.

Overall, a nicely made (counterculture) image.

it's amazing you can get all that good stuff for a hundred cents.

The grain and monochrome helps take this snapshot-style photo and transform it into a photo worth contemplating. Good work.
