I wandered just a couple of blocks off the main square on this little Peruvian island, with hordes of tourists, a beautiful church, cafes, a knitwear shop... and stumbled upon a quiet little eatery, just for locals. There was a lonely customer in there

...and then I looked into the kitchen.

I wish I spent a few days on this unique island, not just a few of hours.

This type of work is giving me more and more courage to try the same on my African travels. I am a very shy "street" photographer who prefers a 500mm paparazzi style and complete isolation when shooting. I love candids. Always have. Again the unobtrusive, versatile and superb OM-D EM5. wildiris has a winner this month with it too, albeit a macro.

Superb, Lev. Congratulations. The door, which I really like as it is, is also less busy than other items in the center of the picture and somehow provides a place for one's eye to settle and thus better enjoy the woman, and the wonderful light on her. Thanks for sharing.

I am not sure exactly what she is doing - some meal preparation chore. Doesn't matter. I love the light and the sense I have of getting a glimpse into another's life. Top four. 9
