Internals of an old clock we had lying around. I couldn't take it apart quite as far as I wanted to, so we're having to peek in to the side of the workings.

I like the way you have done this image. What I am not sure about is the focus point of this image - then again, I don't really understand how these things work. Love the contrast and tonality of the image. Should have cleaned the bits of dust :) 9

This is one of my top 3 images in this challenge and that's nothing to do with your being my hubby.

I really like the way the top plate thingy creates a sweeping and slightly curved line across the image. I like the way the upright thingies create strong verticals to balance that. I like the shallow DOF that throws out the background. I like the repetitive patterns of the cogs, I like the way the light is reflected by the metal but the way I can still see the texture of the surfaces. And I like the conversion to black and white. And the crop.
