As Docpjv's stated 'we all have a story to tell'. Like many of my ideas this has been waiting for some time. This is Magritte meets Pink Floyd meets Surreal meets the Everyman's journey.

Originally I & my friend Andy, were holding off onto this photo shoot till the challenge most suited for it would roll around. But then I thought about Peter's indomitable spirit in light of his fight against the cancer that threatens to overtake him. He carries his light with him on his journey. Every day is another day spent living. Some days are blue skies with white clouds while others are overcast. But even on the worst days dealing with the pain, Peter has vowed never to let the cancer let him stop from living. His light, his spirit, sustains him on his journey - his path that extends to the horizon.

So it was time for the Magritte/Floyd/Everyman to step forward into the light. I can think of no better way to tell this story then by paying homage to Peter and those who choose not to let cancer define their lives. They are the one who do not go gently into that good night, but instead their light shines brightly as each day is *lived*.

So about Andy and the suit:

Our friend Andy is a big Pink Floyd fan. So much so that he MADE the costume pictured on the album cover, Delicate Sound of Thunder. The light bulbs are rubber look alikes that he sewed onto the suit. Like my husband, myself & the kids, Andy and his family likes to dress up in costume for Halloween and/or Comic Cons. My wardrobe addition to add to the suit was to make the 'floating' hat that is a nod to Magritte.

So very strange and wonderful. I can't help but feel that this would have been SO much better in b/w. Plus a slightly tighter crop. I love images that make me wonder "how", and I hope you'll tell us :-)

I like this for its unusualness and effort taken.

heheheh, pink floyd meet Magritte forever :D
The hat not quite aligned detracts a bit from your effort, unless it's flying away.
I can't help to think that it would just be the case for the heavier pseudo HDR processing which I don't normally like. The alternative would be to show the bulb lights or to use transparent ones, at least in my eyes of course.
One interesting thing is that if I squeeze my eyes the bulbs turn into giant drops decorating the suit, which is quite a wicked effect, but I digresses :D

You can tell this image intrigued me, well done, good job.
