Camera: Canon EOS-10D

Shutter: 125 - strobes

Shot with two side strobes. Pulled string and placed on finger while free hand grabbed for the shutter. There should have been two commas in the title. After principle and after shuttle. I am affraid of some voters because many do not know the complexities of centrifugal force.

Nice shot. Centrifugal and centripetal. Great job on the coordination required to capture this shot!

Congrats on the top 10 (to one who comments on all the top 10 shots every challenge). I think the finger is a good concept, but maybe something else would have worked better (like a pencil). Still well done.

You should also win for having the longest title I've ever seen in a challenge :-)

Title needs sharpening in photoshop! One of my worst ever challenge photos was of a gyroscope but you've done a great job in this capture. Well done

imo, youd be better off cloning out the finger and thus leaving the mechanism hanging in the air. i think it would make for a cooler effect. but i dont think its what you were going for... either way, its a good shot. 8

Excellent capture. Well lighted main subject and a nice jet black background to make it stand out.
