Love this, perspective, two planes and a good link between them. In a sense it makes three dimensional the space in between.

iIf we could only understand then we'd know if they're a whole lot smarter than we think they are. This one captures my attention. Wonderful.

Voted earlier coming back to comment.

I like the interaction you caught here of the two birds- perhaps they are two birds in love and this is the courting stage. Heh, kinda like Romeo beneath the balcony (high branch) serenading Juliet:-) You have great interaction but it is diminished and not allowed to shine because there is a bit too much negative space that swallows up the main action. I suggest cropping out most of the bottom branch and a bit off the right so that the bottom pigeon is near the bottom right corner in the new crop. I'd also crop out a bit off of the left to the branch that the far pigeon rests on and a bit off the top. In the new crop that branch will be coming out of the top left corner. With this new crop you now have the two main subjects filling more of the frame and are in positions diagonal to each other calling attention to the 'distance' between these two 'lovebirds'.

love the title, brought a smile to my face, it kind of looks like they are cooing to each other, funny!
