 A little different from his methods - I suspect him of using reflective materials, whereas I used a translucent setup.

In fact, I recycled a piece of mylar that I used for a different shot, using that homebuilt large format rig.. just used some 60 grit sandpaper to give an even rougher edgy look.



The result really does please me though - it's haunting, indistinct, and generally seems like something cutout would like, and would submit.

I'm hoping he's pleased by it.

At the very least, I'm pleased that I shot this with my $10 camera. :) Worked perfectly, couldn't imagine anything else working better.
