 I find myself really liking this image. I don't know what to expect from voters in this challenge, as it's really really tough to intentionally miss focus in a meaningful way. But I feel like I nailed it.

This image was a bit of luck, a bit of quick thinking, and a bit of experience. While spending time in the park with my son, I noticed this guy with his bright colors getting his canoe ready. I watched out of the corner of my eye, and got myself and my son into an area that could get a cool photo of him paddling out to the middle of the lake (where I expected him to go fishing).

As he started to head out, I noticed the tall grass in the foreground, so I go low, focused on it, and waited for him to enter the scene. As he did, I got this very pleasing image. Then I remember that this challenge was happening, and I thought "what luck!"
