This is a great piece....compositionally and tonally. Was it done using a filter or combination of filters in one editing program? I'm just starting to go this direction and wonder what software would be best to combine with my new D800 full frame camera. Would really appreciate your help as I am impressed with what you've done here. (I'm also an oil painter.)

I suspect this would have worked in almost any processing style. The foundational elements of the composition are all there. It just plain works. A top pick for me.
