 I had Ana amazing weekend of photography while the wife and son were gone on a trip. I had the freedom to explore any time of day I wished, and really spent a lot more time at some places than others. From that weekend, I got 4 or 5 shots which could easily be entered into the free study. But this one is by far my favorite.

Even spending a week in the Bahamas, getting some stellar ocean shots, in the end this one reigns supreme. The colors are natural, just a little bit of tuning with Nik Color Efex to enhance the contrast.

Love all the colors and textures. Wish the DOF was deeper though. Would love to see all the plants in the focal plane.
