 Now funnily enough, these really are curtains, or swags that I have in my house. I do in fact get to see and do this about once or twice a week in varying forms.

Now, I know it may seem out of the box and way of thinking usually is, but I read the description of the challenge take an every day item and make it gorgeous. So in my mind I did!

Intriguing and beautifully lit. To me, though, kind of an OOB interpretation of the challenge, since I don't feel like I'm being shown the beauty of curtains as curtains, if that makes sense.

I love this one and should probably bump it - a lot. It's gloriously dramatic. Unfortunately, that's not quite my idea of wabi sabi. Kitchen curtains, hummmmm. May be back :) Voted earlier (7); back to comment.

This is without a doubt my favourite shot in the challenge, but I'm just not feeling the "everyday" or "commonplace" aspect. It would be a very funky kitchen that had curtains like that! A bit torn on how to vote... Will mull it over a bit longer.

This is a gorgeous image - probably the best in show but maybe a bit contrived for beauty in the everyday. Kitchen curtains are everyday but the shot just doesn't say it. I'm not going to give you a junk score, but I can't put this in my top row. (I can add it to my favourites, though).

OMG GASP WOW... (yeah I'm not believeing the kitchen curtain thing) LOL BUT This Will be the Blue 10 from me WOW very seldom do I sit and stare n stare n stare at a picture (espically of a girl) Geeze wish I could give a 20

In a class by itself. This image (highly reminiscent of Juliet's recent work :-) is highly professional and polished. Will likely ribbon, although for me, is not right for this challenge.

Guessing this is a tanguera image? Beautifully lit, and dynamic, unusual composition. Hope it does well with the voters who may or may not think this fits the challenge description (whatever that is). One of my few 8's.

The light and colors are very beautiful! The only thing that bothers me just a smidge is the model looks a little bit uncomfortable. Regardless this is deserving of a good score.

Beautiful shot and model and so fits the challenge title - but in no way it meets the challenge once you have read the description. (unless this is an everyday scene at your home, but I doubt that)
