 A portrait of my friend and musician Billy Angus. Billy plays many instruments but is currently the drummer with Scottish Glasgow rock band, Psycho Sunday.

Took this shot with my black backdrop and 2 flashguns on remote triggers shot through white umbrellas. Flashguns either side with one on lower power than the other for a bit more subtle shadow on one side. Shot in black and white.

Editing involved a crop, slight denoise, brightness and contrast adjusted using levels on an adjustment layer. Resized and then sharpened.

Stunning light. As a band tog this is an immediate fave. I'm not familiar with him however Guns 'n Roses springs to mind :)
