When I returned from traveling all over creation, this is what I found at home. I thought it was beautiful, in its own way.

Nik Silver Efex. I've been working my way through "From Oz to Kansas," and finally got to the chapter on Nik Silver Efex. This is two different presets, blended together (one for the heads of the flowers and another one for the rest).

Silver Efex is the best program, and Color Efex. Great job on the processing.

A Dutch stand-up comedian once said: the sad thing about buying flowers, is that you buy something that is already dying. I completely agree with him, hence I'll never buy flowers for my dear wife (but I cook her great diners). But I have to admit, these roses looks great and I think you did a great job in PP. Love the crisp two roses and leaves and stems blurry. Very interesting technique to use two different presets and blend them together. Must try that one myself once. Thanks for sharing.

I like the crisp focus of the lower blossom.

Lovely - I like the past-its-prime but still beautiful look to this. The rose heads are particularly nice.

Agree completely. This *is* toned down, believe it or not. The light green stems were nearly blown out, and the heads were nearly black.....I didn't have time to do all the PP experimentation that I would have liked. You guys may get to see another edit of this one again later.

I like the pp on the flower heads - very nice. Not sure if I wouldn't have toned down the very light leaves a bit. they seem to be distarcting from the roses.

Dried roses are lovely. I really like your pp - lovely tones and great detail in the flower heads.

Yes, I find dried roses beautiful in their own way. They look great in color and b/w. Wonderful tones.
