These people started playing a game of Frisbee "soccer" (or whatever it's officially coaaled" just as I was leaving this park. I managed to get this guy in mid leap from across the field with the long zoom, only a little blurry.

Cropped, tone curve, two applications of USM at 88%/0.8dia/TH=5.

Nice capture of the frisbee action. You do need to get closer to your subject.

not a bad shot but my thoughts are you need to get close to the action

I think the composition really works well as it gives a real sense of the action as well as a sense of the environment that the game is being played in. I can almost feel the grass under my feet. :) The light people work well against the shadows of the trees. The shadows in the foreground add interest and depth to the scene as does the light on the upper sections of the leaves. The more I look at it the more dynamic it looks. I think the motion blur is good as it adds to the energy. The only thing I could pick on is a bit of over exposure on the really bright elements in the shot. This image could also work really well if it was cropped fairly close to the top and bottom of the people. Good Luck.

nice idea though its unfortunate that all the players are out of focus but nice try anyway :)

Just seems way too far away to me, plus it really lacks good focus.
