 As always, an homage to yanko's great cat portraits.

This is Raisin. She's six years old, and we got her in 2011 at the Helen Woodward Animal Center. When we went there, we told them we wanted the friendliest cat they had, and they went straight to this one. She hasn't disappointed. She's a happy little girl, very friendly, and happy with whatever's going on around her. She's very food motivated, so I got her to look at the camera by tapping a kitty treat against the side of the lens.

Crystal clear eyes and excellent engagement. Umbrella's in the catchlight seemed out of place.

Very nicely lit -- great detail in the whiskers and eyes. Wish the DoF was a little deeper, but that's just personal preference.

Great DOF on this one. I love those whiskers. A bit jagged when viewed too closely, so I'll just sit back for this one.

The first image I open and already one I enjoy! Excellently focused, great DOF and color. I don't like the obvious umbrella reflections, though and a slightly lower (I know, that's not easy) POV would have been even better.
