Much better focus, light, and even colour! Maybe try a small white or gold reflector by your lens (use a white cardboard, cut a hole for the lens, put it on he front of the lens) to throw a bit of light on the front part of the rind. I like the detail in this one. |

Better color and texture. This one pulses with activity even if obviously not. |

This is also wonderful in regards to colours, patterns and lighting. However, I’m a bit different in opinion with others in that I actually liked wk1 better as I found it slightly more interesting overall. Both are very good. |

This lime works better than your lemon of week 1, I agree with most other comments. |

Pretty greens in this - I think another person commented about not having any white in this and I would go a tad farther and say I would like to see it without the skin - it looks like a water fall or fairy wings .. yep, got to get practicing. Beautiful Mark! |

Great macro, much more appealing than the first one. Good focus and nice bright colours. Curious to see which lens you've used for these macros. |

Much better and more interest. I spent more time exploring and enjoying. A tad reflected light would be good too, but just a tad. EXIF please! Cam and lens info please! |

The clarity and focus in much better with this version. I have not tried this type of shot, but I feel just a little more detail in the rind could help. Maybe a small reflector to put just a little light there. |

Delicious glowing color. Such nice subtle patterns in the pulp, gently confined by the membrane. I kind of miss the detail in the rind that you had in the other - maybe a function of the lighting, maybe of the fruit. If it's the lighting, could you combine images to get this gentler light on the pulp and something brighter on the rind? |

I like the lighting on this. I can just see the juices in this slice! |

I like this one better than the orange. Everything is more in focus. Having more of the lime in the frame is ideal. I think it would really look cool if you cropped it in such a way that you do not see any of the white background. Makes for an interesting abstract. Nice. |

Great detail and colour. I'm thinking out loud here, but wonder if a square cropped composition would perhaps work for this? |

Prefer the colors and point of focus on this compared to week 1. |
