Mamiya 645afd, 55mm C manual lens, Ilford FP4+ (exp 2007). This is a much easier and better performing lens than the 43mm C manual. Hand held under fluro light behind a glass door. The film isn't as deteriorated as the W1 shot, but is well on its way.

This is my dog Zarlie (female),she will be (nominally) 3 years old 10th Feb 2013. She is fox terrier x British bull terrier as far as we can determine without having to have a dna test.

Zarlie moved at the last moment to look right but must have flicked her ears and tail when I snapped while her head remained fixed. They (animals/pets/children) all seem to do that to a degree.

Were the ears wagging? :) She's a cutie.

The hint of movement is wonderful and the grain really adds nicely to this image.

Grainy and rich. I love that the tail is wagging and the ears are moving.

I love Zarlie! She is so photogenic.

The focus is killer on her snout and I love how her ears are almost a double exposure

There's a nice softness to your shots that most digital pictures seem to lack.

Really like how her? tail is pointing - there is definitely a special quality to film - I don't mind that the dog is looking away - allows me to ponder what is catching his interest. Nicely done.

Film is forever. The added diffusion of the glass door makes it appear even more so. Nice pose. I prefer a lower at subject height shot but this portrays your POV with tail and ear motion. Looking forward to the next one.

Nicely framed and I love the grain, John. I like the diagonal line of the light along his back and outstretched tail.

Film adds character. B/W tones and grain work.
