Such an intriguing shot. You can stare at this and feel the emotions and yet have to wonder why as - long before you have even pictured the pic.. the dynamics of the image already captures the imagination. Nicely done

Great image and was my pick of the bunch... I was one of your 10's. Now that the challenge has closed, and I see you are a first time entrant, I worry that a blue ribbon with a first entry is almost a sure sign that a disqualification is on the way... sort a rite-of-passage.

Sure enough the image pre-dates the challenge period and therefore won't pass validation. Please don't be disheartened by this, and continue to submit excellent images such as this one. Welcome to DPC!

Anyway, rules have to be applied because they DO actually exist here and it is not a shame to see it dq´d because without rules this "game" would not be so interesting.
He will have many chances to get familiarized with all of them. And there are plenty, do you agree?

Seems like you've got a great eye for this and have willing (or are willing to pay for) models for your work. Congratulations and welcome!
I really like the composition and colors in the image and feel it's well deserving of the ribbon.

This is so wonderful that it has drawn out comments from somebody who generally doesn't comment.

The body painting alone deserves blue; something which your eye has captured perfectly.

Now that should do well. It's not just that it literally fits the challenge requirement but it is one masterful work of light, photography and MUA. My top pick.

Great colors. I would have just cropped off the black space into either 1x1 or 8x10 crop as it doesn't add for me. But highly rated nonetheless.

This looks like it was fun!!! But I'm not sure all the blue helps the photo BURST with color. But dang it looks cool.
