The day this challenge started I realised we had an extra hour to upload photos. I had no intention to enter this, but thought oh well I might as well give it a try.

So at the moment on thinking that I had 45 mins to spruce up these scones, shoot and edit them.

What a sinch I had well over 15 mins to spare.

Well everyone has a good recipe for a scone, no need to put it here. In life I like the simple things, the same is with my food, I don't love the sugar laden sweets most eat these days, a scone, or a delectable home made apple pie will suffice.

I know not to everyone's taste especially the vignetting, but I like even my food photo's to have a certain romanticism about them!

7th too funny, never thought that would happen with my score, was sitting over 6 a few days ago.

You've had nice string of first page finishes lately. :)
Congrats on the TT.

I liked your processing on this one -- it seemed to fit in with the plate and the background. It was a 7 from me. :)

And it does have a touch of romanticism to it -- that's what I liked about it. :)

Great white tones, the high key and fancy wood carving make this a special shot.

This looks really lightweight / light calory. Like the high key effect.

Yummmmmm. I like how the red really pops, and the sketch-looking pp'g, but the negative space isn't necessary

very nice simple setup, love the plate and actually quite like most of the pp...but the tones are so cold on the scones

Great picture! I tiny bit too much processing for me, but still a 9!

Interesting choice in setup. White on white with a pop of red. Seems to work, although the top part of the image is distracting.
