This is the shelf of water -- well, of lack of water, on Sunday evening. The rain from the hurricane had started, but we didn't have much wind yet.
The pear was probably a poor choice, but I grabbed him from the fruit bin, and I kept thinking that when you're in a store, many times you find weird things in weird place. People who walk around with something, change their mind, and just stick it down someplace else.
It might have been better if it was laying down...
Anyway, my husband was very nice and we went out in the rain to get some shots.
This shot:
was by far my favorite, but I figured it would get slammed because it was just in the parking lot of the grocery store.
Otherwise, I liked the entry the best. I wanted something hurricane related.

Currently at 6.02 -- there's a slight chance of holding a 6. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. :)
