I chose this one because of the tilty house. Thought it was funny how a lens can distort our world like this :)

[Oct. 15th, 2012 04:53:45 PM]

Validation request with less than 24 hours into the challenge... wonder if that is why the score went from a 6.5 to a 6.39 in just a few votes. Lots of views!

[Oct. 16th, 2012 03:31:38 PM]

I used the Pop Art filter which basically increases the saturation of the colors. This camera does have the ability to increase the reds and greens and I could have done it manually but this filter saved me some time.

Beautifully framed. Slightly exaggerated color but still works for the season.

This is one of my favotites. I like the blend of colors
The green grass mixed with the leaves is great.
The yellow tree is a great complement to the foreground.
Buy that slanted house I could do without.

I think this is a great shot! The color seems to surround the trunk of the tree three dimensionally with the leaves on the grass at the bottom of the tree in the foreground and the orange and yellow leaves above and in the background. I think this automatically draws your eye to the detail in the bark. Call me a rookie, but it took two viewings to notice the cute green house in the background.

Not a very technical note, but I know when I see a photo I like.....and this is one of them! Great job!!

I really love the warm glow and vibrant colors in this shot. The DOF makes the shot more interesting.
The only thing that's distracting me is the house in the background (especially that it's tilted).

However, that being said, this is still one of my top 10 picks! Great job!
