 The image that I have of the concept was to instigate the viewer to feel the cliché. That is, my intention was for the image to portray a situation where the cliché would naturally be used. In this way, the image represents an idea limited, restricted and trapped by the box. The light of the bulb doesn't reach the extent that it should because of the limitations imposed by the box. This image speaks to me in many levels about the cliché and it fundamental meaning and it push me to exclaim Think outside the box!

I am aware that is not a great image and not very original since is a direct translation of the cliché, but I like the idea and the representation.

Would have preferred more detail on the cardboard and on the inscription of the bulb. Also, after submission I notice that depending on the monitor there are some artifacts appearing around the high intensity region of the bulb.

The cliche is outside the box but the light bulb which represents an idea is inside the box. Maybe you are saying that you SHOULD be thinking outside. Not clear enough for me to score higher than 5. Sorry.

Like the idea. Seems a little too dark, for my liking, at least.
Still, I like the saying and great portrayal.
