 Printed out the cover, found the big needle and thimble in my sewing cabinet.

-Tripod, timer, manual mode, manual focus
-RGB and Blue Curves
-Separate Curves to BG and Thumbs
-Blur BG through mask
-Used "Texturizer" filter in PS 5.0 on gray layer at reduced opacity using Burlap through mask to give magazine clothlike look
-RGB Curve
-Resize
-USM at 88%/48 dia/TH = 5
-SaveAs JPEG at quality 7/10 = 279KB
