 It's been a fun week to watch this image hang out in the 7+ range. I had hoped it would do well, but I didn't think it would do this well.

For our 40th birthdays, my wife and I gave each other a hot air balloon ride, something neither of us had done before. While the balloon was over the St. Croix River (between Minnesota and Wisconsin), I took a bunch of shots of sailboats, speedboats, yachts and barges. I struggled to determine which one to enter, but I'm very pleased with the shot.

love that optical effect on the water. a creative interpretation of negative space, which is best thought of as an optical effect.
