The Huskies came to town. For once, this isn’t my dog Patrys, but a Husky. Dry land sledding is done early morning while still cool and I had fun playing with the light. The gentleman on the bicycle is Jonathan.
Not sure that this will ribbon but a nice score. Spring in the Eastern Free State is such fun.

The light and tones are, of course, gorgeous, but it was the sense of doing something together that they have obviously done many times before and that they both love that made this a 10 for sure in my book. Buddies! Congratulations on the ribbon, Ammie.

I like the tones a lot, and the light is beautiful, focus spot on. The pinks and burnished orange yellows are terrific. Compositionally, my untrained eye thinks that dropping or raising the horizon would have given it more emotional impact,(less or more road might work) and the road falls off to the left, pulling my eye to the crappy scrub brush side. (7 for me thinking about it this much!)

The composition isn't working for me. You have a beautiful background that definitely adds to the impact, but you put the subjects dead center. Try cropping so they're in the lower left or lower right and see what you think.

Aaah the blossoms are out in the FS. I'm getting quite attached to your valley. Just the right spot to take the shot, with the light coming through to expose the puff of dust. Nice pal shot Amanda :P
