 I took a walk down the beach to shoot some around sunset. When I saw the boy running down the beach I composed and waited for him to enter the frame.

I love this! It's like someone's shadow is running from the sunset, knowing that when it finally sets and it gets dark, he'll disappear. Good job.

Really like how the boy(?) is blurred. Like the footprints, like the rough waves, clouds are dynamic. Cool pic.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Almost Ubique-like in its mood (what could be better); though perhaps a little too 'finished'. The amount of blur on the child is just perfect - a stark contrast to the crispness of the rest of the frame. The toning is great too.

Critical stuff: There's something about the sun that creates the impression of target banding - it distracts a little.

Overall: I like this very much.
