I knew this would boggle your minds :)

This is the building:

Camera Position:
Below the sharp end that overlooks the Elbe river, pointing up to the tip @22 mm (image is slightly cropped).
Image was flipped in PP, because standing on loose gravel of the breakwater I could impossibly bend my head that far backwards.

Awesome perspective, excellent explanation (it was as I expected in voting - should have commented!). Quite a crazy building, and kudos to you for finding an interesting view to shoot from.

The reflection is fantastic, Oliver, and its interest and the scene within a frame composition make this an outstanding capture. Congratulations on the HM.

Congrats on a fine image and HM Oliver! Truly a beautiful mind boggling image, and such a great building too. Seeing this image and how you shot it has me thinking I'm not the only one who got a sore neck shooting for this challenge ;)

Didn't vote but should have, would have given this a ten, maybe an eleven if you'd captured someone swimming, excellent architectural shot.

I've been back and back again to view this. It really fascinates me although I don't know how it works. I can't get my head around the difference in perspective of the facade and the view. Wonderful, engaging image. Sharing my top spot with the other 10 I've given.

I really like the use of the reflection. No sure if this is a bw tinted blue or a natural occurence; however I like the image.

Architecture photography with a strong message: every construction relates to its environment. That is special, most other photos don't do more than recording the artwork of the architect. The editing could've been done better, but nonetheless this is one of the two best submissions to this challenge.

I think I would have cropped some off the top and let the viewers' eyes play tricks on them. The bright sun at the top takes me straight to the top to where I say, "oh, building." I actually almost missed the reflection in the building, which is incredible.
