Photographer’s Notes
Okay, just messing around, here. Saw raish’s photo called Portrait of the Sky II. Not much detail, there, but I have a vivid imagination. We had a spectacular sunset tonight … so here, I imagine, is what raish (who actually lives in Norway) was going for if he lived in the Pacific Northwest (of the US).

Or maybe he was trying a High Pass Sharpen and forgot to set blend mode to overlay. Could happen.

For the record, his photo is historically accurate for the Pacific Northwest US in summer. My photo displays anomalous weather.

i don't like such a narrow crop.. seems there is this beautiful sky thats been well taken yet you've decided to crop most of it out.. strange choice.. just guessing here but maybe you were trying to replicate the original pic you are paying homage too?? .. but if thats the case then remember the challenge stated to show us YOUR take on it.. seems a waste to crop out that lovely sky.
