the interaction between man and beast is nice, but the road is the real star of this one.

Your dog a Weim, John?
I had myself one, passed away about a year ago at age 12.
Act like such little humans sometimes.

Excellent composition, exposure and story here, my only problem is I can't produce such work - an inspiration!

I like how the dominant road leaves a lot of possibilities for the hesitant dog.

Company for a lonely man. He's facing the road and thinking of going someplace.

The man knows the dog isn't the cat...and the dog knows it now too...;-)

This image captures your usual strong story telling ability and watching your work unfold reads like a fascinating novel. But, I have to say that I've had the feeling for a while now that we haven't seen your very best...not yet. I'm waiting with gleeful anticipation.

Oh...and don't forget to put the cat out! ;-P
