Just realizing it's a wheelchair - thought it was a small carriage and wondered where the horse was LOL No matter. Congratulations on the HM.

Much more weight to this than the others. You placed high, but not nearly high enough on this. Great scene, found or created, but that it was found makes it even more memorable.

I like this one it tells a nice story, and is also has a pleasing cast to the colors you really feel the mist over the lake a nice photo indeed one of my top 3 for this challenge. One question kept bothering me...How did a person in a wheel chair get the kayak to the water? have this funny image inn my head of a guy with a kayak on his head like a hat wheeling his chair down a dirt path through the woods. Sorry had to share.

I love the story this shot tells. However...I do think that the light is a little too harsh on the left tree. Overall a good pic...good job

One of my favorite type of newspaper assignments is to capture "wild art", which is defined as "Stand-Alone, Feature Shot, Enterprise art are found moments that are intended to be realistic slices of everyday life" (definition taken from this glossary). These are typically images that caption themselves, not needing a lot of words to get their point across. For this challenge, I'm scoring images as whether I'd like to see them on the front page of a paper as feel good wild art. If I don't think they would make the paper, I'm then asking myself, "does it make me feel good?" If it doesn't do much for me, well then, oh well...

Nicely done! One of my top picks. It might not make the front page of the A1, but it has a place somewhere.
