I should add that I'm so lazy that I might have posted this with almost no processing - just a bit of vibrance and contrast and maybe a touch of USM.

C'mon.. it's not so much a downer esp when you can see what you were able to do with it.
This original is actually a very encouraging demo of the lens - and of your steady grip and manual focusing ability.
