I actually tried that and found that it was a bit too flat, but I paint and tend to agree that this may make a great painting.

I am quite taken with this as more of a painting than a photo, so I don't want it to sparkle. It would be more of a pattern if you chopped the top off where the blue sky interrupts the clouds?

Love the layers on this shot but I really feel there must have been a slightly better angle for the shot, the middle layer is just too obscured by the front trees for me, obviously this is just my opinion and I hope it doesn't offend...

I love the sky but I think this is another one of those photos where waiting a bit to let the light develop (early evening) would make a big difference.

Hurrah! My back yard. I know this exact spot. That looks like today's sky. This is Upper Beaver Meadows. The cottonwoods in the valley are beautiful. Long's Peak was enshrouded today, following the dusting of snow on Sunday and Monday. Well done! 10

Foreground trees are too much the focus where the mountains are where I want to be
