cropped. this is my version of pandering. I've got a sharp focus on Darcy's eyes. I actually dodged the highlights on both dogs. I sharpened the hell out of it. I shifted the hue to a warm yellowish.

and I got to tell you, I like it.

I doubt it will score well. I guess I pandered to myself.

As a dog lover, this is was a great capture and that look of Darcy at his master truly makes this shot! She is looking at you as if to say I'm I doing good? I see love and respect in those eyes.

I really enjoy your first person view of your dogs being walked. You make the ordinary extraordinary.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

Cute doggies and a nice high finish, what more could you want? :-) Love the POV and energy here, the one dog glancing back is great and wonderful capture on a nice sharp eye amidst the chaos. Personally I might have cropped the right side a tetch more, 1/2 in or so, but they're not exactly getting lost in the shuffle.

Good work Don, keep it up!

Feel free to PM me

Susan

No, they constantly switch. Darcy generally wants to keep moving and Sophie wants to head off sideways and sniff stuff. And possibly eat stuff. And then Darcy will rub herself in it. You know how it goes.

Ha! Great comment.

One of them looks back for approval. The other one is in her own world. I adore them both.

It scored well enough that I can't bring it up in your namesake thread as underappreciated. Excellent rush of warm sepia'd energy.

Don, This is very nice. I gave you an 8 but probably should have scored it higher. It's amazing how the texture of the road and grass resembles fur.

Beautiful! All that movement and looking-back-doggie's expressive little face is so clear. Hope you get a ribbon out of this. 10

The loving, worried and imploring look to what looks like the helicopter above asks for at least an 8!

This could use a tighter crop but not by much. Still a 7 for an oh so familiar yet compelling, not so often if ever seen capture.
