No idea. Maybe. I haven't tried it there. Why do you ask?

[edited to ad quoted text]

because it is a photo within a photo
maybe to deep for them

:) "Too deep for them" is a bit too cynical for my approach.

I don't post images, here at DPC or there at 1X because of what I think others will say or think or get or not get, but because I like them myself and I think they're good, and they are my work. I may try this one at 1X, 'cause I like it, but now yet. I just made this one now. Usually, for 1X, I wait a while, let the images sit, and if they last in my own mind over time, then I post them there. We'll see.

I truly love this shot, and I love that you kept the whole scene in. Cropping it in to make the fisherman stand out more would ruin the whole shot. It's the juxtaposition of the peace and solitude of the fishing and the grunge and pollution of the factory. What a great find and what a wonderful shot!

Fantastic picture, I'd be worried fishing near such a place.

Oh I didn't see the car there. Love the mood here, two shots of yours have done well.

So much power in this image and so many little things that trick the eyes. The smoke of the chimneys seems to be truly black while the white foamy one looks like the breath of the mountains. And all the heavy machinery rests on a a tiny rivulet of silvery water. beautiful.

Amazing shot! Congratulations on your Posthumous. I'm very surprised this didn't make the top 3.

Without the title the fisherman would have escaped my view almost completely, the building takes over the image, which is a nice image, it just fails in making your chosen subject the main point of interest.

There's a bit too much happening all over the image for this to really fit the challenge (the plant takes over far more than the fisherman) but I really like this image, it says a lot about taking some quiet time to enjoy life despite the industry and noise that we can't get away from.

Love this. For the trees. For the fisher. For the factory. For the reflections on the water. For everything!

One of my favorites, the scale is simply amazing. I would, however, catch and release from this spot.
