"something oddly perfect about the composition and pose."

This sounds to me like a polite expression of doubt that I followed the challenge description... I assure y'all, it was done correctly, and I have plenty of other, horrible images from the same sequence :-)

Except for that it's in color, there is a rather Hitchcockian angle to this

The swan is great but it's the cards that get me, feel like I'm in there with you buying cards for family back home, very nice.

I felt the shot was quite interesting and then I saw your title and viewed it in quite a different and more appealing light. Well done!

There is something special about this. It could seem as though it is a snap shot that should be tossed but as you soak in the image all the textures and colors draw you in and the framing with the lone person and the cart... Very nice. 9

I love this shot a lot. So mundane but so busy, I can't stop looking at all of the little things. Great title as well, clever. The way it's composed whether from being cropped or the accidental composition is fantastic, it keeps the business of the picture from becoming overwhelming. I like this a lot.
