My fave part of this is the beautiful glow. Love the dreamy effect.

I'm sure you don't mind the bilateral fishhooks, but I think this has been way under valued.

Your image definitely caught the attention of the voters, unfortunately it was one of those love hate images. I genuinely thought this was the blue and gave it the full 10.
The voters missed a trick here, I'm sure when they take a little more time and look at this shot most of those low voters will realise they were wrong.
Wonderful work.

This is a great idea. I like that it's blurred some... almost like the viewer has water in their eyes (from the smell of the onion). This is a great shot, and wonderful idea, and something different. Well done

I find it odd that someone else stuck a key in some fruit too!
Love the feel of this image.

The title, the light and the idea, pull together to make this an intriguing photo, well done.

Dude....that's an Unyum. Funny.....my eyes sting like hell when I wear my glasses chopping onions. But when I wear my contacts.....ehhhhh...no problem!

Anyway. interesting lighting...the more I stare at it...the more my eyes burn.... (that's a good thing)

Your IDEA holds my interest long enough to try to understand if you are being sentimental.....or tongue in cheek. Honestly I am NOT being sarcastic or anything. I'm just stuck on this picture....can't quite find the words or questions I'm looking for. The blur is cool. ALSO...have you noticed how much they charge for a "peeled" purple onion at the grocery store compared to a regular "unpeeled" onion.....what's with THAT? High mark for your photo......show an incredible amount of vulnerability..... Having gone through the challenge twice I come back to this and appreciate the creativity behind and in it.....so much better than the rest.
