Been a busy week. I took my wife and kids for a 10-day vacation to my home province in Albay, Philippines. About 600km south of, and one hour by plane from Manila.

With two kids running around everywhere, i decided to travel light. No gears. No laptops.

This shot was taken with my handy Samsung TL500, through the plane window as we were about to land. Yeah i know. "All electronic devices must be turned off" does not include electronic cameras ;)

The big mountain at the background is the Mt. Mayon Volcano, the most active in the Philippines. Google it. It is a perfect cone volcano from all sides. A natural wonder that doesnt get enough government funding for tourism promotion.

Luckily i had access to internet. But the available computers did not have photoshop. I had to edit on my iPad.

Love this photo, popped out among the others. Reminds me of Chile, land of the volcanos, and I love the angle that this was shot from, seems like from a helicopter, but without the haze from shooting through glass
