They catch mostly mackerel off this pier and many are small - about 6-8 inches in length. This young man caught himself a big one, though! He was very pleased. I wish I'd asked his dad (off camera in this shot) for an email address. I need to do that more often.

This was a consideration for the sunset in B&W challenge, but I like it entirely too much to do that to it. :-)

Wow, very cool. I have a very weird idea for all alone for this. Crop out the people and just ahve the rod and fish hanging from it...?
