 Thanks for all the great votes and comments. Just thought I'd mention, the spot on his face is a scar. It would have been easy enough to clone out, but it's part of who he is.

I knew this one would do well. The expression on the gorilla's face is perfect for the challenge theme.

Aw Kelli - I am so so happy to see you on the front page .. I loved this shot right from the beginning and it was difficult not to vote on it. Wonderful interpretation of the challenge and a gorgeous photo both ion both the compositional aspect in in your minimal pping. Doing my happy dance for you!!
