Tried to give it an "Old West" look.

To make a traditional hangman's noose (as I understand it) using "clothesline"-type cordage, start with an approximately three-foot length (longer if you are using thicker rope):

Bring one end back about 3/4 of the way and lay over the other piece to form two loops.

Coil the short piece around all three cords until you get to the end -- thirteen coils is "traditional" ...

Bring the end of the short piece through the loop at the top end of the knot; pull on the appropriate side of the lower loop to pull the upper loop snug against the underlying cord.

Finally, adjust the long end to make the lower loop (the noose) the appropriate size.

You've got a green blotch in the lower left edge that's kind of distracting and looks out of place. Also, I'm thinking(just my opinion) if the tone was sepia, you'd have a 'wild west' feel to this.

This might have worked better is there was some context to the image. I get the point - not sure others would.

Love the euphemism choice. I think the noose was a touch out of focus, would have liked to have seen a little more detail/sharpness to it. But it works well agains the blurred background. The color conversion is a nice choice as well. Good shot.
