My little man woke up in the wee hours and wouldn't fall back asleep. Our floor creaks, so I told him to tip toe like he was "walking on eggshells". Immediately I had the idea to do this shot. So we went downstairs, cracked open and cleaned a few eggs, and ta da... the shot you see.
I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but I like the end result, and he had a blast walking on the eggshells! It was priceless.

What makes this work for me is the pudgy foot. Wouldn't have worked with anything but a toddler.

this image really caught my attention! Perhaps a bit too much black in the foreground. I like the soft focus. I really enjoyed the story.

What a wonderful story to go behind a wonderful photo. There could be improvements but I like it as is as well.

Great shallow DoF, perhaps could have focussed a little more on the foot as well as the eggs though.

Excellent idea and good perspective! Overall Good execution. Less harsh lighting or more balanced contrast might have helped.

Just read your comment on what inspired you... wonderful! Love the DOF.

This is actually my favorite of your images. I gave this one your only 10. I think technically it suffered from lack of good focus. The slow shutter probably contributed to that. Still a great image for the challenge.

Great idea and a fine shot. Would be even better if more of the ankle were visible imo.

I'm noticing a trend here... I think several of your crops/composition are a bit... off. This one could have been cropped off the left, but more space on the top edge...
You have great ideas for entries... Practice will make perfect.

Ohhh... your a XSI user!! Well you sure ran up against the limitations of the machine here. I think you could have bumped up your ISO to 1/800 to help that shutter speed out. You could have made the noise work in your PP. Your score didn't suffer too badly due to the shake though.

I like this shot but as has been said there is not really any area of the image in sharp focus presumably due to the 1/15th shutter speed. The use of just a touch of color works very well and the idea was a good.

Metaphorically speaking, who hasn't had to do this from time to tome? Great illustration of the euphemism. Well done.
