 Shot near Bishop, not far from the Owens River. While the river was nice, this little curvy pool was even nicer. Hand-held a 3-stop graduated neutral density filter in front of the lens to hold back the light in the sky. The large white "dot" in the closer section of the water is the reflection of the moon.

Lovely colors with the frosty look to the golden grasses, the pinks in the clouds and on the mountains and the range of blues in the sky and reflection. Clarity is excellent and I really like the composition - nice layers and the water leads the eye into the frame beautifully and I love that it ends with a glimpse of the peak in the reflection. One of my favorites.

Great light on the mountain and lovely to have that bit of Mt. Tom reflected in the water. However, I find the lower third of the image rather uninteresting. The stream there is less interesting and the light on the grass is really flat. I'm trying to figure out if you used tone mapping on this..?

Love this shot. Might be 1% better if the camera was a bit lower, so as to catch the reflection of the mountain a tad more. But then you'd lose some of those great blues. Really nice landscape!

Fantastic composition; great foreground, not to mention those spectacular mountains. All the bright grass is a bit overpowering, but at the same time, I like the way it instantly draws one into the photo.
