I was out training my dogs and shot this with a cheap Panasonic DMC-ZS6 point and shoot. I don't have time to handle two dogs, throw dummies, use whistles and lug around my DSLR all in and around a pond.For the ones that took the time to look, it is a dummy duck. The breed is a Deutscher Wachtelhund, a versatile hunting breed from Germany. Thanks all for the comments, they encourage me to shot more often.

| This is a great old time style portrait. I imagine this would be a perfect shot for hunting magazines from the 70s (of which I perused a lot of in my grandpa's cabin). |

| Beautiful photo. I love this. I gave it a 5 to begin with, because I wasn't sure how I felt. After looking back a few times, I bumped it up to an 8... it's wonderful! |

| After looking for a while I have decided that's not a real duck :P Beautiful dog but the hunting image brings it down a little for me as I don't like hunting. Tones are lovely almost metalic. |

| I like the tone and focus but seems a little busy. I wish you could have got the dogs tail in the picture. |
